General shipping

Where should my supplier send goods in China?

Our Foshan warehouse handles air and sea shipments, while Yiwu handles sea shipments only. Contact us to open an account before sending goods. We will provide the full warehouse address and shipping instructions.

What information must I provide for my shipment?

Provide complete and accurate cargo descriptions, value, weight, dimensions, origin and destination, together with all documentation needed for export and import clearance. You are responsible for compliance with the requirements of the origin, transit and destination countries, including quality-control or import approvals. You bear fines, seizures or damages caused by prohibited or improperly declared goods.

How should I pack fragile goods?

Pack and label all goods securely for international transport, handling and storage. Breakable items such as glass, ceramics and electronics need appropriate protection, such as foam, wooden crates and Fragile labels. The terms exclude liability for inadequate or defective packaging or the inherent vice of the goods, and exclude responsibility for breakage when the fragile-cargo requirements are not met.

What confirms that ANC has accepted my cargo?

ANC's official receipt, issued when full shipment details are received at the origin warehouse, is the sole proof of cargo acceptance under the terms. Receipts from other companies or third parties are not recognized.

How is air freight charged?

Air freight uses the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight. Volumetric weight reflects the space occupied by the packed goods. Send the final carton dimensions and weight so our team can confirm the chargeable weight and current quotation.

How long will my shipment take?

Ask our team for the current departure options and estimated timing for your cargo. The estimate depends on the route, service, cargo requirements and customs process. Carrier changes, inspections, congestion and other events can cause delays; a transit estimate is not a guaranteed delivery date.

Is my shipment automatically insured for its full value?

ANC does not provide automatic all-risk insurance. Insurance for the full value of the goods is available only on your written request before shipment from the origin warehouse, subject to payment of an additional premium under a special agreement.

Which currencies are used, and when must I pay?

Invoices may be issued in United States Dollars (USD), Chinese Yuan (CNY), UAE Dirhams (AED) or Iraqi Dinars (IQD), at ANC's discretion based on where the service is provided. If the invoice currency differs from the agreed quotation, ANC's prevailing exchange rate on the invoice date applies. All outstanding charges must be paid in full in the invoiced currency before goods are released from the destination warehouse.

How long do I have to collect cargo from the destination warehouse?

Collect your goods from the destination warehouse in Iraq or the UAE within four (4) calendar days of the arrival notification. Daily storage fees apply after this free period. The terms do not state the daily storage rate.

What are the requirements for submitting a cargo claim?

Any claim must be submitted in writing with a valid purchase invoice within seven (7) calendar days of delivery of the goods at the destination warehouse. Claims without a valid purchase invoice will be rejected. You must also count and check the goods before signing for and removing them: the terms waive all claims for shortages or defects once you or your representative signs for and removes the goods.

Who checks product quality when ANC purchases on my behalf?

For purchase services in China or the UAE, ANC acts only as a purchasing agent. You select the goods and verify their quality, specifications and suitability. The terms exclude ANC's responsibility for quality, merchantability, fitness for purpose or defects; product warranties remain between you and the original supplier or manufacturer.

How do I get access to the ANC app?

Register as an ANC client first. Our team will provide your username and password. Download the app for Android or iPhone to track shipment status, access warehouse addresses in China and Iraq, view invoices and payments, read the terms and guidelines, and follow company announcements.

China to UAE

How do I open an account for shipping to the UAE?

Contact our team before sending your goods. To open a UAE account, we ask for a business licence or UAE ID, an email address, and a physical address in the UAE. We then provide access to our mobile app and the shipping addresses in China.

Does China-to-UAE shipping include supplier collection and delivery to my address?

Our standard price covers shipping from our warehouse in China to our warehouse in Sharjah Industrial Area 17. Collection from your supplier in China and delivery to your address in the UAE are not included; both can be arranged at an additional cost.

Can China-to-UAE shipping rates change?

Yes. Shipping rates change frequently, so please ask our team for the current price before sending your goods.

Which goods should I tell you about before shipping to the UAE?

Tell us before shipping if your goods contain batteries, magnets, liquids, powders, wood, brand names or logos, pressurized items, flammable materials, or cosmetics. Send the product details and photos so our team can check the shipment requirements and any approval needed. Do not dispatch restricted goods until ANC has provided the required written approval and confirmed the documentation.
