Identify the products and prepare the documents
Send product names, photos, brand details, quantities and packaging information. Identify liquids, creams, pastes, powders, perfumes and aerosols rather than describing everything simply as cosmetics. Ask the supplier for product information and supporting documents, and tell ANC the destination and intended shipping mode. You are responsible for accurate descriptions, values, weights and dimensions and for required product approvals. Goods and branding must not infringe intellectual property rights. Ask ANC which documents are needed for the origin, transit and destination countries.
Obtain approval for the actual product and route
ANC's terms list cosmetics and perfumes as restricted goods requiring prior written approval and documentation. They also apply special shipment conditions to goods containing liquids, pastes and powders. The Foshan sea receiving instructions refuse dangerous goods, medical goods and food. Do not send restricted products until ANC has confirmed an acceptable arrangement and provided any required written approval. The general availability of a service is not approval for an individual formulation.
Choose packaging for the formulation
Ask the manufacturer or packaging specialist to select closures and seals compatible with the product and container. Cushion bottles, separate individual units and use suitable containment and absorbent materials where required to limit the spread of leakage. Use outer cartons strong enough for the packed weight and handling conditions. Aerosols and other regulated products need classification-specific packaging, marks, labels and documents; general handling labels cannot replace those requirements.
Confirm temperature and moisture requirements
Obtain the manufacturer's storage and transport limits and discuss them with ANC before shipment. The company terms identify seasonal restrictions from 1 April to 1 October for temperature-sensitive goods, including creams, toothpaste, lotions and perfumes. The terms do not establish automatic acceptance outside that period. Any need for temperature control, moisture protection or monitoring must be reviewed for the product and full expected journey, including possible delays.
Confirm acceptance before supplier dispatch
Send the final carton count, packed dimensions and weight for a current quotation. Ask which additional customs, handling or examination charges apply to the approved shipment. ANC's terms make those additional charges the customer's responsibility for dangerous-goods and battery shipments. Obtain the designated receiving instructions and give your supplier the correct customer code. Keep the written cargo approval, supporting documents and ANC's official receipt with your shipment records.
